Leonard Charles Pederson, Jr. was born and raised in Spokane, Washington.  He received his B.A. at the University of Washington and then matriculated at the Georgetown University Law Center in the District of Columbia where he received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Law degrees.  He began his career law clerking for a trial judge in the District of Columbia Superior Court.  Mr. Pederson then became a staff attorney for the Social Security Administration before joining the firm of Schulze & Sorrell, later known as Schulze and Pederson.  He is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and Washington State.

November 26 – December 2, 2010, The Washington City Paper, ran an article in “D.C.’s finest – 2011.”  In that article Schulze and Pederson, Chtd. was acknowledged as having built a solid base of experience, resources, and success in the complexities of personal injury law.

Mr. Pederson has been involved in volunteer civic organizations and served five years on the Bowie City (Maryland) Advisory Planning Board where he was vice chairman.

Mr. Pederson is a member of the John Carroll Society.  He is also a member of the Army Navy Club in D.C., and he is listed in The Social List of Washington, D.C., known by heads of state as The Green Book.  He remains a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
